How to program ford fusion 2010 - 2012 key

THIS PROCEDURE RESETS ALL REMOTES FOR THE VEHICLE. ALL FUNCTIONING REMOTES WILL HAVE TO BE REPROGRAMMED DURING THE PROCEDURE

There are a few different procedures that will program your remotes depending on what vehicle that you have. You can find your exact procedure in your owners manual. If you do not have your owners manual you can try any of the procedures below until you find the one that works for your vehicles

Make sure that you don’t press the brake pedal at any time during or before the procedure.

Procedure A:

1.Close all doors, then open drivers door and press the Unlock button on driver’s door while it is open, insert key into ignition.

2.Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 8 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode. (if the door locks do not cycle, then it was done incorrectly. You must start over by removing key and beginning from step 1)

(Off is the position where you can remove your key, RUN is the position just shy of starting your car.)

3.Within 10 seconds press any button on the first keyless remote to be programmed. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. If you only have one remote then skip to step 5.
4.Within 10 seconds, press any button on the second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. Repeat step 4. for all other remotes.
5.Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

*If this does not work try the procedure with the door closed.

Procedure B:

1. Fasten seatbelt and close all doors
2. Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN 4 times within 3 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition OFF. The system will chime to confirm programming mode.
4. Within 10 seconds, press and hold any button on first keyless remote. The system will chime once to confirm programming.
5. Within 10 seconds, press and hold any button on second keyless remote. System will chime once to confirm programming.
6. Turn ignition to RUN to exit programming mode.

Please note: All steps should be performed in fairly rapid succession. If you never get the initial chime or door lock cycle, that means the vehicle has never entered programming mode. You should remove key from ignition, open and close the door and start over.

BMW unveils new 8 Series

The BMW Group is using this year's Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este to unveil the BMW Concept 8 Series. The forthcoming BMW 8 Series Coupe will demonstrate razor-sharp dynamics and modern luxury. This will be the next model in the expansion of BMW's luxury-car offering and will raise the benchmark for coupes in the segment.

The silhouette of the BMW Concept 8 Series spreads low the road. The interplay of a long bonnet and flowing roofline bring dynamic allure to the car's flanks, while the striking upward sweep of the concept's trailing edge provides a crisp conclusion to the car's rearward flow and adds another sporting flourish. A large kidney grille, slim twin headlights and large air intakes form a striking, sporty front-end graphic. The classic BMW template has a fresh interpretation here, taking the company's design language in a different direction. The grille widens as it extends downwards, emphasising the dynamic character of the BMW Concept 8 Series. Together with super-slim laser headlights and the hexagonal take on the "twin circular" theme, it brings a focused look to the front end.

The rear is bold and modern. The rear is defined by the interplay between volumes and lines, which extend around from the flanks and shape the rear section of the car. The powerful wheel arches hint at the car's dynamic talents and advertise its rear-wheel drive. The slim, stretched-out rear lights extend far into the sides of the car and provide a connection between the rear and flanks. The lights themselves take the form of L-shaped blades and project out from the rear.

The interior focuses on the essential- the task of driving. The surfaces and lines all gravitate forwards and underscore the dynamic driving experience. The grouping of functions into control clusters, e.g. in the centre stack, the centre console and the doors, gives the interior a clear graphic structure.
Among the standout design elements in the interior are the fluid transition from the instrument panel into the doors and the sporty, enveloping feel of the interior. This impression is magnified by the smooth connection between the centre console and instrument panel, which together form the nucleus of the interior. The high centre console and the instrument panel's low visual focus add further emphasis to the snug and sporty feeling of space.

The exclusive sports seats are slim in design, the carbon-fibre shell providing the basic structure and the finest leather making them the perfect place to sit. The steering wheel continues along similar lines, its hand-polished aluminium spokes arrow forward purposefully, and the red-anodised shift paddles bring the race track to mind.

Merino leather in Dark Brown and Fjord White lends the interior a high-quality ambience. Accent surfaces in carbon fibre and hand-polished aluminium create deliberate contrasts and radiate a sporty and technical feel. Moreover, a faceted ground gearshift lever and the iDrive Controller made from Swarovski glass with a smoky quartz look treat the interior to some modern and classy finishing touches.

The new BMW 8 Series Coupe is slated for launch in 2018 and part of the biggest model offensive in the company's history.

Chevrolet Sales To Be Officially Stopped From 2018 in India

General Motors will officially stop selling cars in India from 1 January 2018, the company has said. According to GM, sales of all Chevrolet vehicles in India will end on 31 December 2017

General Motors will officially stop selling cars in India by the end of this calendar year, the company has said. The sale of Chevrolet vehicles will end on 31 December 2017, the company has said. As we had reported earlier today, in a surprising development, General Motors has announced that the company will stop selling all GM cars in India, including the current models under the Chevrolet brand. However, Chevrolet India will continue to offer after sales and service support to existing customers, including vehicle warranty and service commitments made to customers.

The decision was taken apparently as part of a series of restructuring actions from the Detroit-headquartered automaker on Thursday. The company says it will no longer market its Chevrolet brand of vehicles in India, despite India set to overtake Japan as the world's third largest auto market over the next decade.

"Chevrolet India is committed to maintain a service network across key locations with staff trained to take care of all the needs of your Chevrolet for repair and maintenance. We will continue supporting Chevrolet customers with service and spare parts and honouring warranties," the company said.

GM's customer service centre continues to provide 24/7 support to customers , and the company has listed out its customer service helpdesk email ID (gmi.cac@gm.com), as well as toll number (1-800-3000-8080) for customers to reach out to regarding any queries about their vehicles and service-related requirements. Chevrolet car dealers meanwhile maintain that General Motors have yet to officially communicate the company's decision to stop sales of cars in India. Many dealers say that they have stocks of Chevrolet Beat, Chevrolet Sail and Chevrolet Cruze.

NEED FOR SPEED 2017: PAYING IT BACK

A new Need for Speed game is on the way this year, and developer Ghost Games has taken to a brief blog post to share a few more details about the open-world racer. And while the developer didn't share any groundbreaking new information, the details it did reveal indicate that it is listening to fan feedback from 2015's Need for Speed reboot.

Most importantly, Need for Speed 2017 will ditch the always online component that was maligned by fans of the previous game. That means you'll be able to play through the full single player experience without connecting to the internet. "Before you ask, and we know you will, this does mean you will be able to pause the game," Ghost Games says.

Outside of the removal of always online, the game is set to feature lots of customization:

Customization, we love it, you love it, everyone loves it. What's not to love? Rest assured that we're committed to customization having a home within the Need for Speed series. It's not going away and it will play as strong a role as ever as we move forward into the next game and beyond.

Ghost Games is promising plenty of cop chases and a world that will let you "do the things you want." What, exactly, that means is a mystery for the moment, but we're expecting to learn much more at EA Play during E3 in June.

Release date

Still now no release date has been announced, but it is expecting to release in June of this year.

System requirements

It is clear that Need for Speed 2017 is going to release on XBOX ONE, PS4 and PC. It is not going to release on PS3 and Xbox360.

Royal Enfield revving up to buy Ducati?

It's arguably the most iconic brand among high-performance motorcycles. And it could soon be owned by an Indian company. Royal Enfield is understood to have been approached to acquire Italian superbike maker Ducati, owned by Germany's embattled Volkswagen group.

According to reports, VW, reeling under a crippling diesel emissions scandal , has tasked investment banking boutique Evercore to evaluate possible options for a sale of Ducati. The Italian company could fetch a valuation of about $1.5 billion euros, according to estimates.

Royal Enfield, a part of Eicher Motors, has been witnessing healthy growth in India even as it expands aggressively in overseas markets across Europe, North America, and Asia. Sources said that Eicher Motors - which is looking to attain global leadership for Royal Enfield in the middle-engine category - is examining the terms related to the acquisition, possible asking price, and how Ducati could fit within its own fast-growing operations.

Eicher declined to comment. "We can't talk to you on such things," Siddhartha Lal, MD & CEO of Eicher Motors, told TOI when asked about possible acquisition plans for Ducati.

Pressed further, Lal said, "I have a general view on such things. We are always open to thoughts and ideas. But as you know, we are the most focused and selective company... So basically, without saying absolutely no to anything - because we never say never - we are so zeroed in on our own opportunity that we do not want anything to distract us."

However, sources said the Indian two-wheeler major - which has a tie-up with Sweden's Volvo for heavy commercial vehicles and American manufacturer Polaris for personal utility vehicles -- is "keen to explore" any possible acquisition effort for Ducati, "if it comes at the right value and provides the best fit" within its own branding.

Ducati is owned by Volkswagen's premium car division, Audi, and was acquired by the German auto major in 2012 for 860 million Euros. Its current portfolio is dominated mainly by motorcycles powered by engines between 800cc and 1,200cc, a segment which is completely missing in Royal Enfield's portfolio.

Ducati had sales of 593 million Euros in 2016. Other suitors may include global companies such as Suzuki, Honda, Polaris and Harley Davidson, as per reports.

The Italian company sold 55,451 units last year (at a growth of 1.2%), and enjoys a cult branding across the world with a healthy network in many developed markets.

Royal Enfield will hope to gain from Ducati's iconic branding, technology prowess, heavy-bikes portfolio, and a good network in developed markets.

On its part, Eicher Motors has been witnessing one of the best periods in its history with the Royal Enfield brand. Its motorcycle sales grew 31% last fiscal and touched all-time-best sales numbers of 6.66 lakh units against 5 lakh units in 2015-16.

Lal said the company is eyeing "global leadership" in the middle-engine range - from 250cc to 750cc category - as it works on new global platforms beyond its current portfolio of vehicles such as Bullet (350cc and 500cc), Thunderbird (350cc and 500cc), Classic (350cc and 500cc), Himalayan (410cc), and Continental GT (535cc). These are priced between Rs 1.2 lakh and Rs 2.45 lakh (on-road) in Delhi.

"We are today the most profitable motorcycle company in the world... We want to become a global leader in motorcycles, we want to become the number one in middle-weight markets around the world... Anything which de-focuses us from our idea, we will not do," Lal said.

Apart from experiencing robust growth in demand, Royal Enfield's success has also meant that Eicher Motors is in the list of most profitable auto companies. Its reserves at the end of fiscal 2016-17 were over Rs 3,500 crore, growing by nearly Rs 600 crore over the past six months.
The Wolfsburg-headquartered Volkswagen group is considering the sale of Ducati+ as part of an overhaul of its global operations following the diesel emissions scandal that hit its business in September 2015. The company has reportedly set aside $18.2 billion for fines and expenses to fix as many as 11 million cars worldwide.

The possible of Ducati is seen as an effort by the company to divest non-core brands.
A top Ducati official told TOI earlier this year that the company wants to have a partner in India to make small-engine motorcycles. "These thoughts could become a reality in the medium to long term," Andrea Buzzoni, global sales & marketing director for Ducati said in February. "In India, you have robust two-wheeler players, who have competence in terms of engineering, production capacity."

what’s new in Android 7.1.2

The latest update for the Pixel and supported Nexus family is Android 7.1.2, originally announced on January 31, which actually brings a bit more than you might expect for an incremental update. The Pixels miss out on the most exciting stuff, mostly because they have it already, gaining just the “powered by Android” logo on the boot splash screen and the March 5 security patch. Google also improved the finger swipe gesture for the Pixels and Bluetooth connectivity issues.

The Nexus 6P, which I’m using with Android 7.1.2 now, gained fingerprint scanner gestures at last, meaning you can now drag down the notifications shade with the rear-mounted finger scanner. It can be found in the Moves section of the Settings menu and is not enabled by default. Neither the Nexus 6 nor Nexus 9 will be updated to 7.1.2.

What is Cruise control

Cruise control (sometimes known as speed control or autocruise, or tempomat in some countries) is a system that automatically controls the speed of a motor vehicle. The system is a servomechanism that takes over the throttle of the car to maintain a steady speed as set by the driver.

It gives you the freedom to take your foot off the pedal while maintaining vehicle speed.

Using cruise control can improve your gas mileage by helping you maintain a steady speed, but only if you are driving on mostly flat roads.

Chevrolet Cruze Owners Manual: Cruise Control

For vehicles with cruise control, the vehicle can maintain a speed of about 40 km/h (25 mph) or more without keeping your foot on the accelerator. Cruise control does not work at speeds below 40 km/h (25 mph).

If the brakes are applied, the cruise control shuts off.

The vehicle has a Traction Control System (TCS) or StabiliTrak system that begins to limit wheel spin while using cruise control and the cruise control will automatically disengage. When road conditions allow you to safely use it again, the cruise control can be turned on.

WARNING

Cruise control can be dangerous where you cannot drive safely at a steady speed. So, do not use the cruise control on winding roads or in heavy traffic.

Cruise control can be dangerous on slippery roads. On such roads, fast changes in tire traction can cause excessive wheel slip, and you could lose control. Do not use cruise control on slippery roads.

Apple watch Series 2

Pricing and Models The Series 2$359.00 at Amazon comes in the same sizes as the original Apple Watch$699.99 at Apple Store. The 38mm model (starting at $369) measures 1.5 by 1.3 by 0.4 inches (HWD), while the 42mm version (starting at $399) is 1.7 by 1.4 by 0.4 inches.

It looks the same as the original too, though Apple has added a ceramic case option (starting at $1,249) in addition to aluminum or stainless steel; Apple says the ceramic is four times tougher than the steel. The ceramic watch is slightly different in size, at 1.5 by 1.3 by 0.5 inches and 1.6 by 1.4 by 0.4 inches for the 38mm and 42mm models, respectively.

There's also the Apple Watch Nike+, which starts at $369 for the 38mm model and $399 for the 42mm version. Both are made of aluminum (no stainless steel or ceramic options here), with sporty color combinations including Black/Volt (screaming neon yellow), Black/Cool Gray, Flat Silver/White, and Flat Silver/Volt. Its strap is made of the same strong elastomer silicone as Apple's band, but it's perforated for better ventilation as you sweat. The Nike model also includes exclusive watch faces and Siri commands, and the Nike Run Club app is built-in and accessible right from the home screen.

There's one more new model, sort the Apple Watch Series 1. It replaces the original Apple Watch, and is basically the same hardware as the Series 2, but without the brighter screen, built-in GPS, and waterproofing. It starts at $269.

Design

As you can see (above), Apple once again opts for a square look with the Series 2, whereas a lot of the competition, like the Samsung Gear S3 and the Asus ZenWatch 3, go the more traditional circular route. I find Apple's design attractive, and like it stands out a bit. It's also very comfortable, to the point that I could sleep with it on without it being a bother.

You'll find the rotating Digital Crown on the right; pushing it in twice opens up the main app while rotating it zooms in or out, scrolls, and inputs data depending on the screen you're looking at. Next to the Digital Crown is the simply named Side Button. It wakes the watch up, powers it on and off when held down, pulls up the Dock (more on that in a bit), and sends an SOS alert. On the left side you'll find two tiny slots for the speakers, and two pinholes for the microphone. Underneath, you'll see metallic charging contacts and tiny buttons on either side that you push to slide off the swappable band.

Inside the box, you get the watch itself, a metallic charging cradle, a power adapter, and large and small bands.

Display

The Series 2 has an OLED Retina touch display, just like the original, but it's twice as bright, at 1,000 compared with the original's 450. That's bright enough to light your way in a dark room, and it's easily viewable in direct sunlight. The 38mm and 42mm models have a resolution of 272-by-340 and 312-by-390 pixels, respectively, just like the original. That works out to just over 300 pixels per inch () for the 42mm model. Images, text, and video all look nice and sharp. It's even better than the the 400-by-400-pixel, 286ppi display on the Huawei Watch$199.99 at Amazon.
Force Touch is back, which means you can push hard on the display to activate different functions depending on the app or screen that's open. If you're on the watch face, for example, you can press down and then cycle through the other faces available. In Twitter, Force Touching brings up the screen to compose a new Tweet.

The display isn't always on, which means it blinks off when you put your wrist down or when you're not doing anything on the watch for around 10 seconds. By contrast, the Pebble Time$84.97 at Amazon and the forthcoming Samsung Gear S3 are always on, which is convenient when you're glancing at your wrist for the time.

Waterproofing and Battery Life

You can take the Series 2 down to 164 feet underwater. Apple cautions that it shouldn't be used for scuba diving or waterskiing. You can swim with it, though, and use it to track swimming stats including calories burned, distance traveled, pace, and strokes. That puts it on par with waterproof fitness trackers like our Editors' Choice, the Garmin Forerunner 735XT$449.99 at Amazon.
An impressive new mechanism in the watch's speaker any water that finds its way inside. You'll know it's time to remove liquid when you see a water drop icon at the top of the display. When that happens, simply rotate the side dial, wait, and watch liquid sputter out of the speaker port, accompanied by a mechanical whirring sound. I wore the Series 2 in the pool, shower, and submerged it under the faucet every chance I got, and only had to eject water twice. To dry it, all you have to do is give it a shake and wipe the excess water off.

You can't use the touch screen underwater, and it can be difficult to swipe through app screens with wet fingers. The Garmin Forerunner 735XT, by comparison, has buttons you can easily press to cycle through exercise data.
